The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) has retained Williams Whittle for a national outreach program for their new initiative, “CANcer PREVENTion. Together We Can”. Williams Whittle won the assignment in a competitive pitch, and work begins immediately on a television and print campaign which will be launched in January 2015.

AICR has been conducting research into the prevention of cancer for thirty years. This new initiative is designed to get the word out about the fact that nearly half of all cancer is preventable as well as the changes in diet and exercise that can help prevent the disease.

“Williams Whittle demonstrated new ways for us to communicate our message to adults 45 to 65 years old. We are excited about getting the word out in time for National Cancer Prevention Month in February,” said Glen Weldon, AICR’s Director of Education and Communications.

Rob Whittle, President and CEO of Williams Whittle, added, “The CANcer PREVENTion message is a vital and empowering one. We all are fully invested in getting the word out about how Americans can take better control of their health.”

Williams Whittle is a 47-year old agency that specializes in the marketing of nonprofits and associations.
