Virginia Hospital Center, Mayo Clinic, and your family…better together! Sound familiar? We hope so.

Williams Whittle created Virginia Hospital Center’s new advertising campaign to help our client create brand awareness within Northern Virginia that they are a proud member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

In order to successfully make the partnership relevant to the audience, we knew we had to accomplish three major elements with the commercial spots:

1. Produce a memorable campaign with visually compelling and relatable creative.  We wanted the commercials to draw on personal experiences and what matters most when considering a hospital.

2. Create an extensive media plan that would resonate with audiences across the board – from Millennials to Baby Boomers. From Pandora Radio to local Arlington and Alexandria Metro transit stop outdoor, our Director of Media Wendy Weaver pulled out all the stops with this plan.

Here is one of our diorama ads for Metro transit passengers as they make their way to the Orange, Yellow, Silver, or Blue lines:

Virginia Hospital Center's metro diorama ad.

3. Create a compelling call-to-action (CTA). From our radio spots to our emails, we ensured uniformity by ending each with the same call-to-action.

“To find a physician who practices at Virginia Hospital Center, visit”

We wanted to make the CTA as simple as possible. This way, prospective patients could engage by visiting the specific website landing page we want to send them to and search for a doctor with ease. No confusion. No gimmicks. Just good care waiting with a click of a mouse or the tap of a finger.

This is one of the many emails we’ve created for Virginia Hospital Center to capture the essence of who they are, their mission, and dedication to providing those in the Washington area the care they and their family need  — and deserve.
